Posting the dropdown, radiobutton and checkboxes text instead value

In some cases you may prefer to post the dropdown, radiobutton and checkboxes texts instead values of the selected options. This page explains how to modify the default plugin behavior for that purpose.

This feature may be useful for example if you have a price/cost number in the "value" for adding it as an optional item / extra but in the administration area and emails you want to display only the text of the selected item instead the plain price.

To modify the default plugin behavior and post the texts instead the values of the selected options you should paste a custom script (can be copied below in this page) in the "General Settings >> Edit Scripts" area.

The following is the custom script you have to copy and paste into the "Edit Scripts" area:
